Gold Coast Feature Artist – Stephen Lovelight
We’re also thrilled to welcome Stephen Lovelight back to Nerang for our February Open Mic feature act. Stephen is a true blues virtuoso on acoustic guitar, and his rendition of Riders on the Storm always sends chills down my spine.

Stephen Lovelight has headlined major festivals around the country with the celebrated Round Mountain Girls. He is also an accomplished Mississippi Delta Bluesman, playing faithfully in the slide and fingerpicking styles of Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy and Skip James; as well as playing finger style arrangements of contemporary artists.
12:30 PM to 3:00 PM – Open Mic (White Board Session) Bring your stories, your instruments, your voice, your favourite song- whatever your heart desires. The stage is open to all. It’s your moment to shine in our welcoming, creative community. Sign-ups are first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot! 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM – Grab a cold drink from our bar, sit back, and be entertained by Stephen Lovelight.
Bar notice: Just a heads-up that our bar is cash-only. But don’t worry, you can easily grab some cash at the front counter using your EFTPOS card. We’ve noticed a few puzzled faces when it comes to this setup, so we want to make sure everyone’s in the loop! This way, you won’t miss a beat (or a drink) during the performances.
